You cannot mistake the walrus with those magnificent tusks!  This beautiful coin was designed by Christy Ruby. One of these coins were used in 2006 as a flipping coin to decide the winner of a political race in Western Alaska that had ended in a tie.

It is available in pure copper, golden bronze and 1 oz .999 fine silver. It is also available in 1 oz single gold relief (24k plating on the front of the silver coin) and 1 oz double gold relief (24k gold plating on both sides). The 1 oz medallion is similar in size to a silver dollar. They are packaged in an airtight container and handsome gift box. The reverse features our popular “Land of the Midnight Sun” design.
