November has two official birthstones, both known for their warm autumn colors:

Topaz

Most commonly seen in golden or imperial topaz, though it comes in many colors.  Symbolizes strength, good fortune, and warmth.  Imperial topaz (rich orange-gold) is the most prized variety.

Citrine

A beautiful yellow-to-orange variety of quartz.  Known as the “merchant’s stone” and associated with prosperity and positivity.  More affordable and very popular for jewelry.
