81.3 Gram Natural Gold Nugget Specs

This beautiful 81.3 gram natural gold nugget was mined in Atlin B.C. during the summer of 2022. Gold was first discovered in the Atlin district in the 1850’s. Atlin earned the nickname ‘Switzerland of the North’ due to its rugged mountains and stunning vistas.  The remote location and difficult terrain made many sections of British Columbia rather hostile towards the mining of gold. The area comprising Northern British Columbia, the Yukon Territory, and Alaska collectively earned the name “The Klondike.”

This natural gold nugget weighs 81.3 grams (just over 2 1/2 troy ounces!). It is just under 1 3/4″ tall, just under 1 1/2″ wide. Because of our low prices, this gold sells quickly! If we do not have this exact nugget in stock we will find something comparable for you.
