Just purchased from a collector in Barrow Alaska (now Utqiagvik) This 1901 U.S. $10 gold coin was minted in Philadelphia and has been tucked away for over 20 years. It is in AU condition (almost uncirculated) and will be a great addition to your collection. Even though the coin was made 120 years ago, and is still in fantastic condition, it sells for just a few dollars over the market price of gold.
These coins were not minted here at the Alaska Mint.
