Celebrate The 88th Year Of Anchorage’s Famous Winter Carnival
Each year we mint the Official Fur Rondy Collector Button design into our medallions. Since 1986 we have minted the Official Anchorage Fur Rondy design in golden bronze, silver, and pure gold medallions. The silver and gold relief medallions are limited to 2500. Only in Anchorage, Alaska can competitors square off in outhouse races, create massive and complex snow sculptures, and dash to keep clear of reindeer on 4th ave.
These medallions are available in golden bronze, 1 oz .999 fine silver, 1 oz single gold relief (24k plating on the front of the silver coin) and 1 oz double gold relief (24k gold plating on both sides). They are similar in size to a silver dollar and come packaged in an airtight container and handsome gift box. The reverse features our Land of the Midnight Sun design.
