This beautiful 51.8 gram natural gold nugget was mined in the Klondike back in 2021, near the Alaska-Canada border. This natural gold nugget weighs 33.3 dwt / 51.8 grams (about 1 2/3 troy ounces!). It is just under 1 1/4″ tall, just over 1″ wide.

In August 1896, prospectors initially discovered gold in Bonanza Creek, a tributary of the Klondike River. News of the discovery spread rapidly.
