This money clip is made of 10k yellow gold (for strength) with heavy natural gold nuggets and a genuine United States $20 gold coin that was minted in 1900 (the mint mark on the back of the coin is not visible). The money clip design is clean and the clip to hold your money, ID, and credit cards is a slide-in style. It is quite heavy at 62 grams (about 2 troy ounces) The coin is in good shape and shows a few light scratches and minor wear. The money clip is about 1.5″ wide and 2″ long, the coin is almost 1.5″ in diameter.
We purchased this piece from a gold miner who didn’t like to use it very often because he was afraid he might damage it while working on his equipment, so it is in like-new condition. It was made by one of the longtime Alaskan jewelry families, Ken Warburton Jewelers.
